The Three Circles approach is a way to look at our addiction. Start with three concenctric circles.

The inner most circle is where we write out or addictive behaviors. These are the actions and thoughts we must abstain from to be sexually abstenent.

The middle circle are things we know often lead to inner circle behaviors. These are the gray areas in our lives. We might have a middle circle behavior, that as we grow in recovery, we move to our inner circle.

In the outer circle we place the positive actions we must take to grow and maintain our recovery. These actions might include things like exercise, reading, calling members of our 12 step group, prayer and daily reflection.
